In order to meet my fundraising goal of $350 for Team Diabetes, I have decided to give myself a challenge and try sell original watercolor postcards for donations. All of the postcards are drawn on-site, as I wanted to keep the challenge as authentic as possible. The subject for each postcard is of places of interest around Toronto.

This is postcard #12 – Beaches Branch – Toronto Public Library

The one-ton cast bronze owl by architect Phillip H. Carter and artisan Ludzer Vandermolen was installed at the branch entrance on July 7, 2005. There was an owl naming contest, and the winning name was Wordsworth.
